Unfortunately, a survey released during Life Insurance Awareness Month (September 2013) shed light on a growing concern. When it comes to life insurance, most people don’t have enough coverage.
The study, conducted by LIMRA, found that, “30 percent of U.S. households have no life insurance at all” while “58 percent say they need more life insurance.”
Since there are a variety of choices in coverage — including convertible life, term life, long-term care, whole life, and even IRAs — it’s best to speak with an agent about what plan works best for your particular situation.
